Public beta
This doc covers a few aspects of what it means to be in public beta.
After months spent iterating with early users in our closed beta, we've opened up to public beta as of April 21, 2022. We're excited to help you serve ML models and ship full-stack ML-powered apps, and this doc covers a few aspects of what it means to be in public beta.

Account creation

We're being extra diligent about access to Baseten while we're in public beta and still working on scaling our infrastructure and security. When you sign up for Baseten, you'll be asked for a link to your LinkedIn profile. We'll be manually verifying users, and you should hear from us in minutes to hours. Once your account is approved, you'll be able to complete your profile and go through onboarding.
If you're invited to join someone else's existing workspace, your account will be automatically verified, skipping the waiting room step entirely.

Baseten is free to start using today to serve ML models and ship full-stack ML-powered apps.
Beyond a certain point, we'll pass on the cost of additional model resources — additional CPU cores, increased memory limit, and GPU access — which are expensive for us to provide. You can request these additional resources for your models from within your Baseten account.
We hope to be able to work with customers like you to land on a pricing model that best suits our customers' needs and sustains the long-term growth and development of the Baseten platform.

Customer support
